We adhere to strict Pre-sugaring and After-sugaring care protocols to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the process. Sugaring is also incredibly sanitary – it’s hypoallergenic and non comedogenic (it doesn’t block your pores!). Since our paste has such a high concentration of sugar, bacteria cannot breed in the jar!

PRE-SUGARING PREP
Preparing for your appointment helps ensure the best possible sugaring experience and optimal results. Follow these simple tips before your visit:
Allow Your Hair to Grow
Avoid shaving or plucking the treatment area for at least 2 weeks before your appointment. Hair should be approximately the length of a grain of rice (about 3–5 mm) so the sugar paste can effectively grip and remove it from the root.

Exfoliate Gently
Gently exfoliate the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells. This helps the sugar paste adhere more effectively for a smoother, cleaner result.
Keep Your Skin Clean
On the day of your appointment, avoid applying lotions, oils, or heavy creams to the treatment area. Clean, dry skin allows the sugar paste to work more effectively.
WHAT TO WEAR
For your comfort after treatment, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment.
Freshly sugarwaxed skin may be more sensitive immediately after your treatment. Loose-fitting clothing helps minimise friction and irritation, allowing your skin to recover comfortably.
Whenever possible, choose lightweight, breathable fabrics such as cotton, linen, or silk. Natural fibres allow your skin to breathe and are less likely to rub against or cling to freshly sugared skin compared to synthetic materials.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT
Your First Professional Sugaring Experience
Feeling a little nervous? Don't worry—our friendly team will guide you through every step of your visit to ensure you feel comfortable, informed, and at ease.
Step 1: Check In
Upon arrival, simply scan our QR code to complete your client registration form. If you have any questions about your appointment, membership, promotions, or retail products, our Front Desk Coordinator will be happy to assist you.
Step 2: Your Private Treatment
When it's time for your appointment, your certified Sugarist will escort you to your private treatment suite. Depending on the service you've booked, you may be asked to partially disrobe. Your comfort and privacy are always our priority.
Step 3: Professional Skin Preparation
Your treatment begins with a professional skin preparation using Alexandria Professional Presept Skin Cleanser to cleanse the skin, followed by Essential Tonic to help calm and prepare the follicles. Vertal 6 Drying Powder is then lightly applied to ensure the skin is perfectly prepared for sugaring.
Step 4: Professional Body Sugaring
Using Alexandria Professional's signature body sugaring technique, our Sugarist removes hair in the natural direction of hair growth with premium sugar paste warmed to body temperature. This gentle technique helps minimise hair breakage, reduce ingrown hairs, and deliver smoother, longer-lasting results with greater comfort than traditional waxing.
Step 5: Skin Care & Hydration
After your treatment, Essential Tonic is reapplied to help soothe the skin, followed by Restore Hydrating Lotion to hydrate, calm, and leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed.
Step 6: Aftercare Recommendations
Before you leave, your Sugarist will share personalised aftercare advice and introduce the Alexandria Professional home care collection to help maintain healthy skin and prolong your sugaring results.
